welcome to our core curriculum for our 2026 village-wide artist residency, a friendship that can withstand the revolution.
There are two circles that make up our 2026 artist residency: an outer circle of GOOD LISTENERS, and an inner circle of FEATURED ARTISTS.
We take each circle through an apprenticeship in unlocking ancestor dreaming & abolitionist ancestor theatre aka creating stories as altars for personal and planetary transmutation.
Our program for featured artists includes a closed circle for creative development, wealth building and a research practicum in sovereign village funding models. Visit this page to see the full invitation.

ALIVE MEMOIR: Shaunga’s alive memoir is our guide as we embark on our 8-month adventure in unlocking ancestor dreaming.
This is a professional development curriculum for spiritual athletes and artists who work for the planet.
We recognize the role of the STORYTELLER + PLANET WHISPERER + WISDOM KEEPER is essential for these times, particularly for movements dedicated to LandBack and Rematriation Promises, Abolitionist Village Building, Wealth Redistribution, Solidarity Interventions, Ecological + Animal Advocacy, and growing Earth-Centered Economies.
When we remember how important we are to these movements, we are also met with the reality that we need way more public celebration, communal support, monetary investment, social camaraderie, sacred spaces to develop our artistic + service-based offerings, and entire ecosystems and networks that directly support what we do, the way that we do it.
We need way more accessible ways to work, create, grieve, learn/unlearn, rock and roll, die multiple times per year, and live – especially when we recognize how much more we have to give, that isn’t getting done, because we do not have a dedicated, sovereign, collective financial organizing system designed directly by us, for us.
This curriculum is for a network of folks who are in love with their relationship with Spirit and The Universe, and understand that altar work, ancestor healing work, and ceremony have always been foundational to liberation work.
We invite you to designate the next 8-months to take something beloved you are currently holding and move it forward in a meaningful way. Deepen it. Evolve it. Reckon with it. Pour water and sunlight into it.
This curriculum invites you to bring forward everything emerging from your dream world as a fundamental text and site of study to guide the gardens you are growing, and to bring dreams ready to flower over the next 8-months into fruition.
We study many different kinds of dreams including:
sleep dreams, day dreams, waking dreams,
oracle visions, prophetic sight,
artistic dreams, liberation dreams,
dreams we have for our livelihood and our lifetime,
broken dreams, grieving and recovering dreams,
dreams remembering how to re-member themselves,
and the most important dreams we want
to protect, nurture, resource and grow for our planet.
OPEN HEART SURGERY STORYTELLING: We share our alive memoir in our “backstage” area.
Shaunga takes us through her signature practise: after we record our dreams, we go back into them, open them up, and perform surgery: we pull out timely ancestor guidance, gems of wisdom, planetary protocols, abolitionist relationship principles, important direction and insight on to how to navigate our current times – personally and collectively.
We use this technology to not only to study our dreams, but also to develop our medicine, oracle-research, methodologies and practices. We study our original scripts, works of art, and creative process, and we study popular stories in TV, film and books.
PLANET WHISPERING: this curriculum is grounded in Shaunga’s every day conversations with the more-than-human world including animals, plants, trees, mountains, cosmic phenomena, celestial bodies and primordial spirits like life, death, time, love, and justice. Our curriculum includes these conversations as part of the most seminal guidance and wisdom emerging from our dream world.
She also shares conversations she has with Ancestors, Descendants, Future Partners, Past Lives, Friends from Alternate Realities, and a very important rainbow-brick-road emerging from the deepest heartbeat and pulsing rivers of our planet:
the timeline where we shut down prisons, policing and the military industrial complex in our lifetime, and where we build genuine, feasible, viable and liveable earth-honouring economies, abolitionist villages, ancestor-inspired marketplaces and grief-centered ways of living here and now.

We include writer/director commentary along with the dreams we share and stories we study: how Shaunga approaches creating art in collaboration with ancestors and the spirit world, designing projects and business when you work for the planet, behind-the-scenes of bringing creative projects to life, essential guidance for the spiritual abolitionist, and personal stories from this life path.

Finally, we give you snippets of some of our favourite epic voice note conversations Shaunga and her friend Ravyn often have about art, love, life, grief and sustaining a long-term friendship that can indeed withstand the revolution.

You can expect Shaunga to share 3-5 pieces in her alive memoir each month between May 2026-January 2027. These offerings become monthly sports medicine bundles, aka storytelling tinctures for spiritual athletes, that help us listen, ground, and deepen our commitment to a timeline of personal and collective unfolding where the planet herself gets the freedom and healing she wants.

• ANIMAL WHISPERING: lessons from animal companion loss for grievers of all kinds + conversations with the animal kingdom about big questions and small things in front of humanity
• CELESTIAL WISDOM KEEPING: our specialized practise in decolonizing astrology, multiverse history lessons on timely social/political matters, conversations on the love story between celestial and earthly relatives
• EROTIC HEALING FOR SURVIVORS: ancestor healing approaches to sexual healing, specifically for survivors; a body of work on erotic storytelling*
• FICTIONAL CHARACTERS AS OUR ANCESTORS: conversations with the sovereign spirits of fictional characters as allies & accomplices on the road to Great Global Solidarity
• NEW ECONOMY RESEARCH: how understanding stories as altars for ancestors to move, helps us craft the building blocks of earth-honouring, grief-centered economies + our series on financial literacy for the spiritual abolitionist + a specialized commitment to decolonize the category of “grieving mother” and provide economic support in this area

we want people to join because you are excited about how our dreams, visions and bodies of wisdom keeping are already in conversation with one another.
a few ways to approach this as a self-directed apprenticeship:
✶ come to our core curriculum as a source of inspiration & guidance as you study your own dreams, study your own work, and pull out the essential guidance hiding in plain sight
✶ bring something you want to develop, nurture or move forward, and use our curriculum to support your process: a script you’re writing, a program you’re visioning, projects you’re leading, a new/in-progress body of research
✶ lean on our curriculum as you run an earth-centered business, artistic practise, and/or use this time to grow, deepen or evolve an abolitionist audience around your ideas, work, vision and voice
✶ study and learn from our new economy visions grounded in village-centered relationship principles and sacred reciprocity as you dream your ancestral prayers into fruition
✶ take this as an opportunity to record conversations you have with the natural world and the unseen realms, and/or invest more in your skills and gifts in metaphysical technologies, planet whispering, and celestial research
✶ decide on an artistic-spiritual-liberation project you want to give focus and attention to for the next 8-months; use our curriculum to help you nurture its season of development; create a space to share behind-the-scenes of your process or works-in-progress
what happens when we dream together…
As we move through this apprenticeship, we end up co-creating a giant TIME KEEPER’S CALENDAR.
When we record and study our dreams over time, we play important village roles as scribes and memory keepers, that help us tend to our Ancestors, pay something forward to our Descendents, and create something important for here and now: a collective land and star oral history mapping project, that is multiversal in nature.
We start to see a clear picture on how nature spirits and medicine practices across the globe are already in collaborating with one another, and how our ancestors are organizing for liberation in specific formations.
We start to see what collective organizing can look like, if we mapped it, held it, and resourced it, on an altar.
We fill ourselves with joy, celebration and renewed enthusiasm for these most auspicious times we are tasked to steward, when we get mind blown at the synchronicities and shared conversations emerging from our dream world…
Where might we find that we are each other’s puzzle pieces? Where are we creating cross over episodes, alternate timelines, and easter eggs in each other’s work, visions and dreams?
The foundation of this apprenticeship understands that we have all the guidance we need to accomplish unprecedented revolutionary offerings for our planet – to match and grow more powerful than the force of violence currently escalating.
In December 2026, those participating in our apprenticeship will be invited to a celebration Town Hall where we share the most important lessons we’ve learned, and study our collective map of ancestor dreaming.
During this Town Hall, our Featured Artist Circle will present what came out of our new economy research where we transform disenfranchised labour into beloved, cherished paid village roles.
some suggestions:
MOON: treat yourself to a private self-directed artist retreat/writers retreat/planet whispering retreat. Prioritize time to sit with our curriculum, and then use that inspiration to feed what you’re working on. Share what you’re learning in a private or closed group setting: organize a regular dinner party with friends, visit a part of nature to make regular offerings, or create a private or semi-private digital space.
If you want a more private experience, there will be a place for you to add comments and share reflections on the posts Shaunga adds to her alive memoir.
SUN: create a space for your own public or semi-public alive memoir / dream journal! Use this as an opportunity to call an audience around your visions, ideas, planet-whispering conversations, and what you’re learning from your dream world. Feel free to start a new space to share what you’re learning from this curriculum, or use a space you are already nurturing (social media, newsletter, etc).

*your mixed voice is a blend of your ‘chest voice’ and your ‘head voice’ in vocal technique, ie where you usually find a break between what your voice sounds like when you sing high verses low.
