GETTING OUT OF DANGEROUS/ABUSIVE LIVING SITUATIONS

•legal fees, securing first and last, moving costs, funding for a care team, livelihood costs while you get back on your feet, funding to resource coaches, therapists, mentors and healers while you recover, build a business, work on your financial healing, money for a rest or grief grant and more

ACCESSIBILITY UPGRADES

• finding a home without mold or pests, physical/city/rural location that meets your needs, more space for children/animals, garden space, good lighting, bathtub, building more wealth to afford more rent, or to live alone if solitude is what you need (these are all accessibility issues!)

CARE TEAMS & SUPPORT WORKERS

• meal/cooking/cleaning support, child care/animal care, land stewardship, help with daily errands, grief/survivor/mental health support, funding the things friends/family do naturally that make it possible for you to survive and thrive

HEALTH, HEALING & RECOVERY FUND

• emergency or ongoing health costs, building a nest egg, funds to support elders or your own elder years, taking time off work to focus on what really matters, whatever you need to do to truly replenish your body, mind, heart and spirit

This fund can also resource folks who want to be more nomadic, build mobile/tiny homes, travel more or live closer to nature.

SUPPORTING BLACK & INDIGENOUS ALIVE-LIHOOD

As we raise our grants, we always dedicate a “give back” portion that goes toward taxes/reparations for Indigenous, Black, Afro-Indigenous, caste-oppressed communities, movements, families, individuals, and landback projects, including those who are suffering the worst impacts of environmental degradation, genocide, colonization and catastrophe. We create paid positions for full time organizers/activists, resource healers/storytellers, and prioritize the work of healing our own relationship to Earth-Honouring Ancestors in our lineage, and to the land itself.

Our “Heal from Hollywood” village fund reminds us about the truth of what art can do, in times of genocide, or times of anything. Money from this fund can go toward:

FUNDING FOR EVERY PART OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS (in art and in life)

• spacious baseline funding for your practise, gift development, projects & businesses
• funding to resource the integrity of your healing journey and creative soul’s evolution
• start up grants when you’re exploring something new or building a new audience
• ‘close down’ grants when you’re moving through transition, celebrating, integrating or grieving a major project or life experience
• resourcing teachers, mentors, coaches and students when you’re healing your relationship with self worth, visibility, confidence, building craft and skills
• resourcing essential services, personal, small circle and community work that doesn’t belong in a buying/selling model
• spacious funding so you have time to live, hang out with family & friends, study life, rest, and allow your creativity its own space…

…instead of shoving it into an algorithm or HAVING to bust out ongoing research, storytelling and programs to keep earning money.

STUDYING STORIES FOR A LIVING

• Village grants for students of life who want to study stories (books, film, TV, music, journalism, herstory, metaphysical technologies etc) and share what they learn with others
• Funding for our “content creators” aka our public educators, storytellers, open libraries and classrooms

STUDENTS, PRACTITIONERS AND AUDIENCES OF ANCESTORS THEATRE, CELESTIAL THEATRE AND ABOLITIONIST THEATRE

• spacious funding for creators and practitioners developing major works of art, programs or services in this area, or who are growing their sovereign independent studios, networks and channels
• people who need trauma recovery from “the industry” – not just hollywood, but any industry that has kept hurting you
• “good listeners” aka audiences who want funding = extra time and support to listen, observe, witness and learn
• for creators who want to invest more in the ancestral roots, village roots and spiritual gifts of your creative practise – Ancestor Veneration work, performance as collective ceremony & energetic activism, becoming abolitionist audiences, and more.

“The Alchemy of Ancestor Healing & Sexual Healing: for survivors and those who love us”

This fund goes toward the development of Ancestor-Healing approaches to erotic healing, especially for survivors and those healing from religious trauma. When we raise money around this body, we’re able to organize, distribute and connect the folks who need funding in a much more efficient way. For example, through one payment portal, we can raise and distribute money for:

• storytellers, artists, researchers working on the topic
• oracles, organizers & activists providing pleasure and joy oriented offerings
• individuals providing and seeking private coaching, therapy or peer support
• people who need to get out of abusive situations before they can fully run a business/practise or live safely
• families & communities surviving or fleeing extreme military violence (as sexual violence is always a major component of military violence)

“Transforming Legacies of Trans Suicide to Trans Alive-lihood”

This fund resources our trans beloveds and initiatives for gender justice. It goes toward:

• What trans/gender non confirming folks self determine they need, not just to survive, but to want to stay alive and be alive.
• Trans & Femme community caregivers who mentor, mother, hold space, do healing practitioner work, create stories or bodies of work, or do anything to help raise and keep villages alive
• Researchers on liberatory, thriving village models of moving through conflict, abuse, break-ups, divorce
• Healers offering Ancestor Healing approaches to queer and trans community or liberation movements

“Animal Universe” offers gifts and grants to queer, trans, BIPOC, survivors, grievers, and healers for our love story with our animal companion(s), whether they are in body or in spirit. Village Funding on this topic can go toward:

• Financial support for Animal Eldership, transition, grieving an animal, animals with chronic or complicated health issues, vet bills, building a holistic care team for you and your animal (especially during times of grief and transition), bringing a new animal into a family, training, behaviour issues, supporting yourself to spend more time with your animal just because, or learning how to find your place in life again after losing a beloved companion

This is a topic very close to Shaunga’s heart. Her body of work also provides support to Animal Lovers in other ways, such us:

• grief support and lessons from animal companion loss for grievers of all kinds
• animal communication services (for animals in body and in spirit)
• animal companion medicine: oracle guidance from the animal kingdom for direction on humanity’s greatest concerns, dreams and promises

The body of wisdom that encompasses all of these is what we call: “Unlocking Ancestral Dreaming”: methodologies, technologies and practices to study our sleep dreams, day dreams, oracle visions, dreams we have for our lives, and dreams for our planet.

This body of funding goes toward teachers and practitioners who have gained much wisdom and expertise in this area, and are well purposed as community oracles, guides, visionaries, storytellers and teachers. It also resources folks just beginning, emerging, or in a mid-way part of their journey who want to learn more with trusted, chosen teachers, healers and mentors.

Here, we also resource ancestor-guided approaches and research initiatives to sustainable living such as – growing our own food, better water, food and travel systems, transforming our relationship to how we eat, addiction recovery, ceremonial land stewardship, building revolutionary cities, and more.
